A Dream, and Another Adventure Begins

The seeds of many, if not most, of my story ideas begin as dreams. Last night I dreamed that my that My Beloved and I were among those who were invited by beings from another world to go with them on a great adventure across space that would take seven or eight earth years. My Beloved and I quickly decided to go together. At the last minute, I was unable to go, but she had her heart set on the trip and we agreed that she should go without me. (That’s when I woke up.)

It certainly wasn’t the funnest dream I’ve ever had, but it may contain the seeds of an interesting story and writing adventure. I plan to climb aboard and see where it takes me.

With Love,

Thank you, Bill. Fortunately we’re still happy after 35 years of marriage. I have many friends who have gone through divorce and for most it was an ugly and traumatic experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I’ve been blessed and am grateful not to have experienced it in my own marriage. There were a few times when it was sheer stubborness and selfishness on both of our parts that helped us keep it together. We were too stubborn to give up on the relationship and on each other, and too selfish to let go of the good thing we knew deep down inside that we’d created together. ;-D!
